We’re working moms, burned-out execs, a cancer survivor, and a solo dad.

We're not exactly wellness influencers, but we certainly care about our health. We’ve lived through the chaos — the late nights, the mac-and-cheese dinner streaks, the skipped workouts — and yes, some tougher chapters too.

But we’re the kind of people who want to laugh through the mess, grab the joy where we can and choose to walk on the BRYTR side of the street.

Which is exactly how we created BRYTR DAYS: A daily ritual that’s simple, science-backed and actually doable. It started as something just for us, but we quickly realized it could help others, too.

We made the mental wellness product we needed

Daily nutrition that helps replenish the essential nutrients your body needs (but doesn’t always get) to support optimal cognitive function, mental agility and resilience.

Our Founder & Origin Story

I didn’t set out to start a wellness company. In fact, I left the corporate world in what you might call… a dramatic exit. Years of travel, stress, and juggling work with family finally caught up with me. My body shut down, my rheumatoid arthritis flared, and I was forced to stop and ask: what is all this really for?

Around the same time, my husband (and now co-founder), Kelly, was diagnosed with stage 4 colon cancer — not hereditary, but entirely environmentally caused. While he began treatment, he also dove headfirst into researching the connection between nutrition, gut health, and mental wellness. Meanwhile, I couldn’t help but notice our daughters sliding into the all-too-familiar teenage diet of Starbucks, treats, and energy drinks. Watching their stress rise as their nutrition fell was a wake-up call.

It all came together: Kelly’s cancer, our kids’ eating habits, my own burnout and the growing realization that everyone around us — colleagues, friends, family — was hitting a wall. Burnout is real. And the “solutions” being fed to us (5 a.m. journaling, meal-prepped mason jars, cereal-bowl size daily pill regimens, or a perfectly clean diet of organic superfoods and salmon on repeat) just made us feel worse, not better. Because for most of us, those fixes may look good on screens but they are not for real life or long term.

So we started BRYTR with one simple idea: wellness shouldn’t be about chasing perfection. It should be about taking small, smart steps that you actually can do — and feeling good about them. We created the blueprint for BRYTR DAYS, then partnered with a team of scientists and business leaders who shared our vision and helped bring it to life.

BRYTR DAYS is a daily scoop with 17 clinically-backed nutrients your brain and body need for optimal mental wellness. It won’t replace sleep, exercise, or an ideal diet (and we’re not pretending it will). But it is one thing you can control — a daily step you can take and know you’ve done something good for yourself, no matter what else your day brings.

Because the truth is, one small step leads to another. And another. And before long, you’re moving in the direction you want to go.

Here’s to BRYTR days, one scoop at a time.

Xoxo, Anita

Anita

If I’m not chasing down my never-ending to do list (or creating new ones for everyone else), you can find me at home in our sleepy coastal town in Northern California – hiking with our dogs, exploring the trails with Kelly (my hubs and COO), hosting our favorite people, or hanging out in our girls’ rooms catching up on their lives.  OK, fine, you may also find me in my happy place (aka bed) binging the latest British mystery series.

I’m a former investment banker turned transformation specialist who’s worked for more than 10 founders across start-ups and turnarounds. I’ve seen the inspiring, the great and the not so great - and it’s time to put those lessons to use at a company and for a product that deserves its moment.  Everyone should have the chance to live a BRYTR life, and I hope I can bring my experience building communities of like-minded women who rally around a product and a purpose - and help turn that energy into something real, lasting, wildly impactful and unbelievably fun.

Kelly

Girl dad to the core working everyday to raise two confident and curious young women. Also known these days as Anita’s husband (our CEO) - yes we partner at the conference table and the dinner table and that isn’t always easy!

An avid reader of obscure medical journals, taste tester of any food that’s rumored to help mental wellness, former outdoorsman and a profuse vacuumer (helps me relieve stress). I’m also a cancer survivor which is why I’m here with this amazing team.

When I was diagnosed I made it my life mission to do two things - be the best dad possible AND to help make people’s lives a little BRYTR. Turns out I could do both through nutrition - give my daughters the tools they need to succeed and bring those same solutions to others. When I break away from work I’ll probably be with my dogs at the beach, spending every second I can with family and friends, or concocting a ridiculous plan to cook large meals in a massive boiling pot outdoors.

I’m also a survivor of a grizzly bear attack so I consider myself to be one of the luckier guys around. Firm follower of the belief that the days are long, but the years are short!

Sonia

I live in the beautiful Pacific Northwest, where I split my time between hiking forest trails, hunting down the best dumplings in town and checking out the free concerts in the summer.  I’ve got a suitcase that’s always half-packed (travel is my love language) and a notebook that’s never far from reach for when a new idea or story comes to mind.

That same curiosity — for discovery, for what makes us thrive — is what led me to BRYTR. Its early testing convinced me: the science was solid and I felt the difference in myself. I soon joined as Chief Strategy Officer, helping to tackle the connection between nutrition and mental health with science-backed solutions. Before that, I led people strategy as CHRO at the Gates Foundation and have shared big stages — from TEDx to Web Summit — talking about change, leadership, and unlocking human potential.

Whether I’m exploring a new city or a new idea, my favorite thing is connecting with people and leaving them a little BRYTR than I found them.

Manisha

When I’m not tinkering in the lab, you’ll probably find me painting in my study which has been a lifelong outlet for patience, focus and creativity. Austin’s art and music scene keeps me inspired, but if I had a week with no limits, I’d trade it all for a cabin in the woods with my family — no distractions, just nature and peace.

I’m most proud of building companies while raising a little one — the hardest and happiest adventure rolled into one. Before BRYTR, I spent years in research and innovation at J&J, Unilever and Colgate-Palmolive, with more than 50 invention records and six patents in oral health, nutrition, and skincare. When I created our first product, BRYTR DAYS, I tested it on myself while juggling a newborn, a demanding job and postpartum recovery. The difference I felt convinced me that this was something big.

That’s why I’m so excited to be here.  I get to bring my science and my story together, and to help others feel BRYTR in their everyday lives.

Matt

I’m a proud dad to two amazing kids chasing careers in medicine, and husband to Lisa—my partner in all things life:  Adventure, travel, and staying young at heart. When we’re not out exploring, you can find us at the lake surfing, boating, grilling, and just enjoying time together.

After 25+ years in corporate America, I’ve (finally) found my passion in growing mission-driven brands that make a difference. That’s why I’m here at Brytr.  To work with some amazing people and maybe even help people out a little bit on their daily journeys.  I call Ann Arbor, MI home (Go Blue!), and I’m always in pursuit of that sweet spot between work, fun and living life to its fullest with friends and family in tow.

We'd Love to Meet You

If our brand resonates with you — whether as a partner, creator, or supporter — we’d love to connect.

You'll make our day BRYTR!
